I am very happy to welcome Yi Pang to the Stanford Cancer Clinical Research Program in the new role of Director, Cancer Clinical Research Strategic Initiatives. She will begin on January 22, 2018. Yi joins from Stanford Health Care where she has held various positions over the last 10 years. Most recently she held administrative director and advisor roles with the International Medical Services (IMS). Prior to joining IMS, Yi held roles of increasing responsibility in the Performance Excellence department. Before joining Stanford Health Care, Yi was Clinical/Marketing Liaison at New York University Langone Medical Center – Hospital for Joint Diseases and an adjunct lecturer in biological sciences at Hunter College.
Yi holds a Master in Healthcare Administration from Cornell University, and Master and Bachelor of Medicine from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She also holds certificates in Lean and Six Sigma, along with a certificate in Project Management.
This new role of Director, Cancer Clinical Research Strategic Initiatives, will be integral to setting, prioritizing, analyzing, communicating and implementing key strategic initiatives for the Stanford Cancer Clinical Research Program in collaboration with leadership. These initiatives will span many functional areas critical to the conduct of cancer clinical research at Stanford through broad programmatic enhancements or more focused niche efforts that address important processes and procedures. The Director will partner with leaders and stakeholders to support priority, high-impact process developments, evaluations and enhancements.
