Reminder: SOM Clinical Staff with Healthstream/EPIC access – FY21 annual compliance training due by Sept. 30

September 23, 2021 - SCI Communications

Due to staffing and operational priorities surrounding COVID-19 and the Delta variant, team members will have 30 days of additional time (until Sept. 30, 2021) allotted to complete all FY21 annual HealthStream assignments.

NOTE: SOM Staff with Healthstream/EPIC access may have Healthstream trainings assigned that aren’t relevant (e.g. already completed through STARS through SOM). If this is the case, please reach out to the CCTO Admin team (ccto-admin@stanford.edu) and we can work with removing anything that you don’t need to complete.

Any assignment that is completed after the original Aug. 31, 2021, due date will be recorded as “Completed Late” on all reports and employee transcripts due to current system set-up. Please know that any course completed by Sept. 30, 2021, will be considered as completed on time, despite the system showing that the course has been completed late.

Please encourage your employees to complete all trainings as soon as possible and only use the 30-day extension period if needed. To complete your assigned trainings, log in to the HealthStream platform.

Instructions on how to access and complete trainings via HealthStream is below. For any questions or trouble accessing HealthStream, team members should submit a ticket via Ask HR or call 650-723-4748 (Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PST).

  1. Navigate to SHC Connect and select HealthStream under Employee Tools.
