

The CCTO welcomes Andrew Le, our new CRCA with Lymphoma. Andrew graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a BA in Biology and Minor in Science Education. Prior to joining the CCTO, Andrew was a Line Cook at Raman Nagi, a Japanese restaurant in Palo Alto. He is looking forward to understanding the details and intricacies of the clinical research process. He is excited for this opportunity to learn and work with everyone in the CCTO! The CCTO welcomes Veronica De Santiago, our new CRC2 with Hematology. Veronica graduated from UC Berkeley with a BS in Nutritional Sciences, Physiology and Metabolism. Prior to joining the CCTO Veronica was a Clinical Research Coordinator at UC Irvine on the Hematology-Oncology clinical trials team. She is looking forward to contributing to the work of the CCTO in making promising therapies available to the patients we serve while expanding our knowledge and understanding of cancer and efficacy of novel approaches to treating AML. In her free time, Veronica loves to go rock climbing, running and hiking. Please help us welcome Veronica!

The CCTO welcomes Abida Nazir, our new CRCA with GI. Abida attended Rawalpindi Medical College in Pakistan where she received her medical degree and worked as an OB/GYN for two years. Abida then moved to the U.S. and obtained a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer degree (A.R.D.M.S.) from Foothill College in Los Altos. Prior to joining the CCTO, she worked as a sonographer for eight years. In addition, Abida also obtained a Clinical Trial Design Certification from UC Santa Cruz. Abida is looking forward to growing as a health care professional in the vast dynamic field of research. Outside of work, she loves to sing, although she says she isn’t the best singer. Please help us welcome Abida!
