

The CCTO welcomes Ryan Mokhtari, our new ACRC with Sarcoma. Ryan graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. He was previously an Intern with Premier Physical Therapy in Santa Cruz. During this time, he was also researching mechanisms of imatinib resistance within gastrointestinal stromal tumors. Ryan is looking forward to learning a lot from his Sarcoma Team as well as the rest of his colleagues at the CCTO. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys weightlifting as well as playing basketball and volleyball (indoor and beach)! Please help us welcome Ryan!

The CCTO welcomes Georgiana Burnside, our new CRCA with Neuro Surgery. Georgiana graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in Neurobiology. She previously worked as an undergrad research assistant in the Department of Neurosurgery investigating molecular and cellular repair mechanisms of spinal cord injury. Georgiana is excited to continue her time at Stanford and grow her professional career in clinical research as she one day hopes to administer her own as an aspiring physician. The CCTO welcomes Natalie Grandy, our new DSMC with Quality. Natalie received a Master’s in Health Sciences at the University of Lucerne in Switzerland. Natalie joins us from Yale University School of Medicine, where she was working as a clinical research coordinator, primarily managing Phase 1 clinical trials for immunotherapy drugs. She is looking forward to working with the Quality team and contributing to the development of new therapies. In her free time, Natalie likes to take her dog Olive on adventures.
