Please read this entire blog post. It will take about two minutes.
- Keurig Machines Reusable K-Cups
- Keurig reusable purple K-cups have been more difficult to locate recently at 800 Welch. Please remember to return the reusable K-cups to the kitchen areas where you used/found them. Wash the K-cups after you make coffee or set a reminder on your phone/calendar to attend to it in a timely manner once it is cooled.

- Grey and Silver Carts
- Have you seen the grey carts? The admin team has noticed one of our two grey carts is missing. Please return to the elevator hallways at 800 Welch if you have it.
- The CCTO has 2 grey carts (located as an endcap near the elevators or in the elevator hallways at 800 Welch) and 2 silver carts (one by the 3rd floor HR office, and one in a similar location along the back wall of the 2nd floor) for transporting items around the building.
- Staff are welcome to use the carts any time, however they must be returned to the elevator hallways when finished, as the admin teams requires them regularly for mail/box transport and delivery. Carts should not be used to long-term storage of binders or for longer than the day or two you need them.
- Conference and Monitor Room Bookings
- The admins intake all CCTO requests for 800 Welch conference rooms via email.
- Requests should be emailed to ccto-admin@stanford.edu.
- The admins intake all CCTO PRISM and Onsite Monitoring reservations via email.
- Requests should be emailed to monitor_reservations@stanford.edu.
- The admin team checks these inboxes regularly throughout the day. If there is a bit of a delay, please do not worry—it just means we’re running around away from our desks. We will get your request(s) taken care of within 24 to 48 hours. If it’s urgent or last minute, please include that in the subject line. Note: The admin team cross-covers inboxes if one of us is out of the office.

- Avoid Shuffling Papers at Printer/Fax Areas
The CCTO Xerox/Canon printers and onsite faxes have suffered from severe paper pileups and messes.- Printing and Fax Etiquette
- Please take time to pick up your printouts and faxes immediately—it’s unsecure to leave PHI/PII prints and faxes unattended and creates an untidy atmosphere. Anything not picked up that has an old date on the cover sheet will be shredded.
- Don’t shuffle/mix up other people’s print outs
- Be courteous by not leaving a messy pile of papers behind. If you must dig through multiple prints to find yours, please neatly lay out or paper clip other people’s printouts.

- Shared Space / Hybrid Working Reminders
Please be mindful about workspaces and belongings.- Shared Desks: If you’re sharing a desk with teammates, please ensure you keep the desk tidy and limit the amount of personal/non-work-related items at the desk to ensure there is space for kit/box/paperwork storage.
- Designated desks: Please do not take, borrow, or use anything from someone else’s desk, shelves, walls, or drawers. If it’s not your space, it’s not yours to touch. As a reminder, this includes items such as art and food/candies, general office supplies, sanitizing wipes, file hangers/holders, and writing utensils.
- A helpful tip: It is appropriate for you to use items located in the cabinets and on the shelves of the 800 Welch third-floor supply area; for our 900 Welch and Redwood City folks, you can use items from the appropriate supply closets at your locations. If the item you are seeking is in someone’s cubical or office, always ask the person who sits there for permission first.
- If you’re ever unsure of something based on where you found it, ask the admin team at ccto-admin@stanford.edu. We are happy to help you assess availability of an item, and we can assist in purchasing if it’s not in stock.
Thank you, so much, for your help and support with the above items. We all want to work in a respectful environment and your positive efforts really do make a difference!
