

The CCTO welcomes Noël Del Toro, our new CRCA with GU Oncology. Noel is a recent graduate of Santa Clara University with a degree in Neuroscience. She also minored in Biology and completed an emphasis in Global Health! This is Noël’s first job outside of her undergraduate education. While completing her degree, she worked as an RA in the Halladay Neural Circuits and Systems Lab. She also worked as a wilderness guide for Santa Clara University’s Outdoor Student Organization. While working within the Stanford CCTO, Noel is excited to open her eyes to all the existing, moving parts of the clinical setting. She knows that every step of a clinical trial is incredibly necessary, and she feels blessed to have this opportunity to learn! Fun fact about Noel: She loves cats AND dogs and trail running is her favorite outdoor activity. Please help us welcome Noel!

The CCTO welcomes Camellia Djebroun, our new CRCA with Radiation Oncology. Camellia is a recent graduate of U.C. Berkeley with a degree in Integrative Biology with an emphasis on Human Biology. Previously, she worked as a medical receptionist for a private practice. She is looking forward to collaborating with her team and experts in the field of cancer clinical trials. Camellia is eager to learn more about the transformative research being led by the Stanford community. In her free time she enjoys being outdoors with family and friends. Camellia is a self-declared foodie who loves to cook, try new foods, and is always open to recommendations. Please help us welcome Camellia!

The CCTO welcomes Luis Martinez, our new CRCA with Head & Neck. Luis graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2019 with a degree in Biology. He worked as a research assistant for the Brain Trauma Lab at the Massachusetts General Hospital for two years. Luis is looking forward to getting more clinical experience while working alongside renowned researchers and being a part of the Stanford community who value impactful innovation and extraordinary care. Although Luis grew up in Bakersfield, CA, he is new to the Bay Area and welcomes all recommendations for good food, fun outdoor activities and places of interest to visit. The CCTO welcomes Corinna Romantic, our new NP with Pediatrics. Corinna graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Biological Sciences. She also holds an undergrad degree in Nursing and a Masters in Nursing, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of Rochester. Prior to her position in the CCTO Corinna worked as a Pediatric Oncology/Nurse Practitioner at Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital. She worked in the Bass Center both on the inpatient unit, as well as in the outpatient clinic and infusion center. Corinna has worked in pediatric oncology in clinical roles for 8 years. She is excited to learn more about the research side of patient care and incorporating her clinical background into this role. Corinna is an avid runner. She loves relaxing by the water (ocean, lake or pool) and traveling . She lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and their dog. Please help us welcome Corinna!

The CCTO welcomes Sophia Harrison, our new CRCA with Pediatrics. Sophia graduated from UC Berkeley this past May 2021 with a BA in Public Health and a minor in Public Policy. Prior to her position as a CRCA on the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology team, Sophia held various internships within the maternal and child health advocacy sphere, such as serving as the health policy intern at the National Women’s Health Network in 2019. She also served as the Workplace Equity Intern at Tara Health Foundation last Summer, and spent 2 years during her undergrad volunteering at Just Health 510, a free dental clinic for the uninsured population in Oakland, CA. While working in the CCTO at Stanford University School of Medicine, Sophia is most excited about experiencing clinical research first hand while continuing to learn from experts in this progressive field. In her free time she enjoys playing the violin and reading for pleasure.

The CCTO welcomes Janaki Tadepalli, our new CRCA with Hematology. Janaki graduated from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in India with a Bachelors of Pharmacy degree. Prior to her position in the CCTO she worked as a Medical Assistant/Cochlear Implant and BAHA Team Coordinator at Kaiser Permanente Hearing Center in Santa Clara, CA. Janaki is looking forward to a new career in Clinical Research where she can contribute. She is very excited to be part of a great team in Hematology. Please help us welcome Janaki!
