

The CCTO welcomes Brandon Yap, our new CRCA with BMT. Brandon graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor’s of Science in Neurology, Physiology, and Behavior with Physiology focus as well as a minor in Psychology. During his years of pursuing his undergraduate degree, Brandon worked as a research associate in the David Lab at UC Davis as well as a Scribe in the Emergency Department. After graduating, he worked as a Medical Assistant in Primary Care before becoming a CRC at Stanford. Brandon is looking to foster his comprehension of novel cancer treatment methods while simultaneously gaining a better grasp of a provider’s medical decision making process within a research context. Brandon really likes iced coffee. Please help us welcome Brandon!

The CCTO welcomes Vishal Joshi, our new CRCA with Breast. Vishal graduated from UCSB, with Biology BS (MCDB focus). Vishal previously worked as a patient flow coordinator/scribe with the breast oncology clinic at 900 Blake Wilbur. While working at Stanford / CCTO, he is looking forward to exploring the research side of oncology and expanding my breadth of knowledge within breast cancer. He also enjoys hiking and generally all outdoor activities! Please help us welcome Vishal!
The CCTO welcomes Debjani Ghoshal, our new CRC2 with Early Drug Development. Debjani graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology degree. Debjani has been working as a Clinical Research Coordinator with Sean N Parker Center for Allergy and Asthma, Stanford University for the last 3 years and has been with Stanford since 2016 and loves the Stanford culture. She is excited to learn more regarding cancers and helping in finding new therapies. Gardening and baking helps her relax. She loves to learn so cannot keep myself away from school. Currently, she’s pursuing her Masters while working full time and being a busy mom of 9 year old twins. Please help us welcome Debjani!

The CCTO welcomes Jessica Sushansky, our new CRCA with Pediatric Oncology. Jessica graduated from Tulane University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. She will be graduating in Summer 2021 from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine with a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology! Her most recent position was at the Louisiana Cancer Research Center where she worked as Laboratory Assistant studying Alu/Alu mobile element recombination. A few of her previous positions include Research Assistant in Tulane’s Epidemiology Department where she worked on hypertension clinical research, and at Top Box Foods Louisiana where she was a Program Assistant. Jessica is looking forward to learning a lot of in-depth information about cancer and it’s burden on pediatric patients. She’s also looking forward to learning all about the innovative clinical trials and research currently conducted at Stanford! Two fun facts about her are that she has an 8-month old miniature dachshund named Frankie, and is fluent in Russian. Please help us welcome Jessica!
