Calling all CCTO staff to join a newly created slack channel (within the School of Medicine workspace) called ccto_watercooler-chat. The purpose of this channel is to provide an open canvas for all members of the CCTO to get to know one another. Use this space to introduce yourself to other members of the CCTO, congratulate a co-worker on a recent accomplishment, share in your weekend adventures, pose an interesting question for others to answer, etc. It’s a chance to let everyone reset by talking about less stressful things, like hobbies and personal interests – fun topics not associated with work.
The pandemic has certainly been challenging on everyone within the CCTO. One of the many ways we can reduce stress is by staying connected. Our hope is that this channel will help provide some human interaction day to day, especially while working from home. Think of this channel as a watercooler/breakroom – a place we can all use to take a break from work and socialize with each other.
