The COVID-19 pandemic has reminded us all of the importance of having easy access to timely information. We’ve designed the StanfordMed Pulse to do just that. The Pulse, which replaces the StanfordMed Daily, will arrive each weekday in your inbox beginning Monday, Oct. 5. Like the Daily, it will reach all employees at the School of Medicine, Stanford Health Care, Stanford Children’s Health, Stanford Health Care – ValleyCare, University HealthCare Alliance and Packard Children’s Health Alliance.
The Pulse will continue to include information on upcoming events, important policy changes, training requirements and study participation opportunities. New will be an engaging, colorful format; a news section featuring the latest on research and clinical developments from throughout Stanford Medicine; and links to our social media channels.
We offer other ways to remain connected with the Stanford Medicine community, including our StanfordMed LIVE events. These virtual community town hall events feature Stanford Medicine leaders and outside experts addressing issues of importance to our community. IN addition, we have a new mobile platform in the works we’re particularly excited about. Look for it in early 2021.
These last seven months have been challenging ones, and coming together as a community and being able to effectively communicate with one another is more important than ever before. We’ve listened to your feedback and we’re continually recalibrating to ensure it is easy to keep in touch at Stanford Medicine. Please reach out to us anytime with your thoughts: stanfordmed-communications@stanford.edu
