

The CCTO is happy to introduce Khoa Nguyen, our new ACRC on the Thoracic Oncology team! Khoa received his B.A. in Biological Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis with a minor in Anthropology that focused on Global Health & Environment. He previously worked as a Research Assistant II at the Kotzbauer Lab in Washington University, St. Louis School of Medicine. In his own words, he looks forward to “happy hours and outdoorsy activities with all the cool people on the thoracic oncology team! ❤️”

Samantha (Sam) Fang has been promoted to CRC2. Sam has worked with Dr. Youn Kim for the past two years, coming to CCTO with a background as a medical assistant. Thank you for your hard work and your contributions, and Congratulations Sam! Please send her personal congratulatory notes!

Alyssa Kanegai has been promoted to CRC2. Alyssa has worked with Dr. Ron Levy for 15 months; prior to coming to CCTO she worked on human subject research in the social sciences and with a device company. Alyssa’s interest is in the area of public health; she has been accepted to a Masters in Public Health Program (MPH) through Berkeley. She will be starting the on-line MPH program in January 2021, and while continuing her work at the CCTO. Alyssa, thank you for your hard work and contributions, and a double Congratulations! Mariel Rojas has been promoted to lead CRC. Mariel has worked with Dr. Ranjana Advani for the past 14 months. Mariel has over 5 years of experience coordinating clinical trials in optometry and kidney disease prior to coming to the CCTO.
