A formerly weekend-scheduled water fountain replacement at 800 Welch will now take place next week Monday through Thursday.
Facilities is aware that staff are working onsite and said there will be some minimum noise, but nothing significantly disruptive. Plastic will not be put up again over the bathrooms during the install, restrooms will be unblocked and available for use, and the kitchen water supply will not be affected.
Below is the schedule that all staff working in 800 Welch next week should take note of:
- Operations & Maintenance Technicians will be shutting off the water supply at 800 Welch to the restrooms on Saturday, April 11, and Sunday, April 12, in order to install isolation valves for drinking fountain installation.
- Installation of new water fountain on 3rd floor scheduled Monday, 4/13 and Tuesday, 4/14.
- Installation of new water fountain on 2nd floor scheduled Wednesday, 4/15 and Thursday, 4/16.
For those in the office next week, if you have any concerns about the work that is being done or if the noise is more disruptive than what I’ve been told, please let the admin team know so we may provide additional feedback to the facilities team.
