Stanford will celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday on Wednesday, January 22, with two lunchtime events, one on the main campus (Tresidder) and one at Stanford Redwood City (Discovery Hall). RSVPs are required, and lunch will be served.
Our guest speaker will be the Reverend Dr. Zandra Jordan, Director, Hume Center for Writing and Speaking, Writing and Rhetoric Operation. Reverend Jordan is a trained rhetorician and ordained Baptist minister. In addition to directing the Hume Center for Writing and Speaking at Stanford, she serves on the teaching/preaching team at University ZME Zion Church in Palo Alto. Zandra holds a Ph.D. in English and Education.
