

The CCTO is excited to introduce Colleen Surmay as a Research Nurse Practitioner on the Pediatric Oncology Team. Colleen completed her graduate studies at UNC Chapel Hill. Colleen is joining the CCTO from the Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital of Stanford and is looking forward to an atmosphere of learning with her new role. Colleen is a runner and enjoys hanging out with her dog. She is located at the 800 Welch Road building, stop by and say hi.

The CCTO is excited to introduce Lisa Kody as a CRCA on the Breast Onc Team. A UC Merced Graduate, Lisa is excited to learn and meet people with the same interest and goals in cancer research. She practices yoga and is looking forward in taking advantage of the “sweeteners” that Stanford has to offer. Lisa is located at the 780 Welch Road building, stop by and say hi.

The CCTO is excited to introduce Heraa Hashmi as a CRCA on the BMT Team. Receiving her degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder, Heraa is excited to meet new people and the outdoor activities that Stanford has to offer its employees. Heraa is a calligrapher and is located at the 800 Welch Road building, stop by and say hi.

The CCTO is excited to introduce Alex Thau as a CRCA on the Genomics Team. Receiving her degree from the University of Colorado, Denver, Alex is looking forward in learning new types of studies and research. Alex enjoys snowboarding during the winter season and is located at the 777 Welch Road building, stop by and say hi.

The CCTO is excited to introduce Sherry Zheng as a Research Data Analyst on the OnCore Team. Originally come from China, Sherry considers Virginia as her home state! Sherry graduated from University of Virginia and Virginia Commonwealth University with a BS in Statistics and MS in Biostatistics. A self-professed foodie, Sherry likes to explore different kinds of cuisine and enjoys the occasional hike. Sherry is super excited for this position because this position allows her to get exposed to different oncological studies which will bring her a good sense of clinical practice and programming skills. Sherry is located at the 455 Broadway building in the Redwood City Campus, stop by and say hi.

Receiving her degree from San Jose State University, Angelica is excited to meet her team and learn all aspects of clinical research. Angelica has a pet cat and grows her own succulents.
