Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October 24, 2019 - SCI Communications

View this post on Instagram

It is October, the month of apple picking, pumpkin patches, and pink – as in the color of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Breast Cancer Clinical Research Group at the SCI's Cancer Clinical Trials Office works on healing humanity through science and compassion, one patient at a time. The team conducts research studies to find new innovative ways of treating breast cancer, and also helps cancer patients and their families in navigating the complexities of clinical trial participation. As new therapies are developed, clinical trials can open doors to new drugs and procedures that may be even more effective than the current standard of care.
