Growing Relaxation

June 20, 2019 - SCI Communications

We all need a quiet minute during our working days to relax from the demands of meaningful but busy jobs. For many that break comes with a mug of coffee at the kitchen.

The Developmental Therapeutics team decided to add sunlight,  fresh air and a bit of gardening to transition between operational tasks at the CCTO.The team started tending a mini-garden at the second floor patio at the 800 Welch building.  Herbs (thyme, rosemary and oregano) and a  tomato plant are the group new mood boosters. They are adopting a salsa garden for mental health.

You are welcome to  pinch a leaf of flavor for your lunch salad or to help watering the plants. Gardening gloves and a watering can is available by the pots at all times. The tomatoes should be left alone for the team to enjoy as their rewarding results.
