Coordinator Brown Bag Event

April 18, 2019 - SCI Communications

The Stanford Center for Clinical Research (SCCR) hosts quarterly educational events for study coordinators: the next Coordinator Brown Bag  will explore a great topic: “Self-Care Practices in Medicine for Clinical Providers”. The upcoming meeting is on Wednesday, May 8th, 2019, from 9:00-10:00 am in LKSC Room 102

Meet your fellow coordinators, receive updates and announcements, share best practices, and enjoy breakfast among colleagues.

The speaker for the event, Sheila Lahijani, MD, explains that “self-care practices are imperative to [providers] personal health … Self-care practices help reduce burn-out, and knowledge of these practices can also inform clinical care with patients and research participants.”
