The CCTO will be hosting its next Cancer 101 Class on February 21 and the RECIST portion of the class on February 28. If you’re interested, please sign up for the classes today!
These two optional courses are available in STARS and we recommend signing up for both classes to get the full set of information listed below. The goals of the one-hour and fifteen-minute Cancer 101 Class and one-hour RECIST Class are to provide a high-level introduction to the following topics:
- Define cancer(s)
- How cancers develop
- How cancers manifests/how a patient presents
- Diagnosis methods
- Staging & Grading
- Treatment types
- Research measurements of disease response
Cancer 101 (CCTO-0100-022119) will be held on Thursday, February 21 from 10-11:15am in 800 Welch Road, conference room FC180. We also have a Live Zoom Webinar session that you can attend on the same date and time if you cannot attend the class in person.
RECIST (CCTO-0101-022819) will be held Thursday, February 28 from 10-11am in 800 Welch Road, conference room FC180. We also have a Live Zoom Webinar session that you can attend on the same date and time if you cannot attend the class in person.
