SCI CCTO recognizes that staff seek the option of telecommuting on a regular, part-time basis. We are delighted to officially announce the SCI CCTO Telecommuting Program launched on October 31, 2018. This Program is to help our staff alleviate stress of the daily commute and promote work-life balance.
Stanford University sets forth policies and procedures to facilitate telecommuting arrangements for eligible staff in appropriate circumstances. The Telecommuting Plan guides the process utilized by the SCI CCTO to request, approve, manage and track telecommuting arrangements. This process applies to all staff members employed by the SCI CCTO.
Eligibility criteria: staff should have not received discipline within the preceding twelve months and should have completed at least six months of their trial period. Other factors, such as the nature of the job/work and operational needs, should also be taken into consideration.
How to request: SCI CCTO staff members submit a completed CCTO Telecommuting Request Form to their manager for review.
