The CCTO will be hosting its next Cancer 101 class on October 29 and the RECIST portion of the class on November 1. If you’re interested, sign up today!
These optional courses are available in STARS, and we recommend signing up for both classes to get the full set of information listed below. The goal of the one-hour Cancer 101 Class and half-hour RECIST Class is to provide a high-level introduction to the following topics:
- Define cancer(s)
- How cancers develop
- How cancers manifests/how a patient presents
- Diagnosis methods
- Staging & Grading
- Treatment types
- Research measurements of disease response
Cancer 101 will be held on Monday, October 29, 12-1pm in 800 Welch Road, conference room FC380. Please bring your lunch. We also have a Live Zoom Webinar session that you can attend on the same date and time if you cannot attend the class in person.
RECIST will be held Friday, November 2, 2-2:30pm in 800 Welch Road, conference room FC180. We also have a Live Zoom Webinar session that you can attend on the same date and time if you cannot attend the class in person.
