Asma Khan to transition to PRMS Manager position in February

I am pleased to announce that Asma Khan is transitioning to the role of PRMS Manager as of February 5, 2018.

Asma comes to this position with 8 years of clinical research experience, most recently in the role of lead CRC with the Hematology group focusing on support the work of the CRG along with coordinating studies in leukemia. Prior to joining the CCTO in 2013, Asma held study coordinator positions at O’Connor Hospital and UCSF. She has also served as a TV co-host, office administrator and non-profit volunteer director. Asma has a Bachelor in Medicine & Surgery from Rawalpindi Medical College in Pakistan and is currently pursuing a Masters in Clinical Research Management at Arizona State University. In addition, she completed the Clinical Trials Design & Management Certificate Program at UCSC and maintains clinical research certifications from SOCRA and ACRP.

In her role as PRMS Manager, Asma will oversee the administration of key Stanford Cancer Institute (SCI) clinical research committees including the Clinical Research Oversight Group (CROG), Scientific Review Committee (SRC) and the Data and Safety Monitoring Committee (DSMC). In addition, she will oversee the Quality Monitoring activities.
